New York Yankees Split Two-Game Set with New York Mets at Citi Field

In game 1, the NYY saw success against Max Scherzer and the bullpen was able to overcome Luis Severino’s struggles. In game 2, Gerrit Cole pitched well but they let the lead slip away in the 7th and lost in extra innings thanks to going 1 for 15 with RISP.
